No standard island package
A Palma apartment block, an Ibiza holiday villa and a Menorcan finca have different roofs, different electricity use and different planning rules. So every quotation we write starts with a year of bills, a survey of the roof and the fuse board, and a list of what runs in the property: pools, air conditioning, pumps, hot water, an electric car.
We size the panels to the electricity you use in daylight, which is where solar pays back fastest. We add a battery when your evening use or your need for backup justifies it, and we specify fixings and outdoor equipment for salt air and wind.
Then we handle the rest: the comunicación previa to the council where it applies, installation, the electrical certificate, registration and surplus compensation with your electricity company.

How much do solar panels cost in the Balearic Islands?
Typical home systems run from about €4,800 for a small array to €8,500 or more for a larger one, including standard installation and legalisation. Villas with batteries, backup or difficult access cost more. See our price guide.
Which islands do you cover?

Do you handle the council paperwork and registration?
Yes. We check the planning route for your property, prepare the municipal notice, register the installation and set up surplus compensation with your electricity company. How planning works.
Do solar panels work during a power cut?
Not on their own. Grid-connected systems switch off when the grid fails. We install batteries with backup switching for the circuits you choose. Power-cut backup.
Can you install while I am away?
Yes. We arrange access with you, a neighbour or your property manager, send photos as the work goes on and set up monitoring you can check from abroad.
Is a battery worth it for a holiday home?
Sometimes. If the house is empty for months, a well-sized solar system and good monitoring usually come first. A battery earns its place with regular evening use or a real backup need.
