1. Named equipment
Panel make, model and wattage; inverter or microinverter model; battery model and usable capacity; mounting system and its coastal rating.
2. The design
Which roof areas are used, orientation, a shading allowance through the year, where the inverter and battery go, and the cable route. We include a layout drawing.
3. Expected generation
Month by month, with the split between direct use and export. A single annual figure hides the winter.
4. Planning and registration
Which municipal route is assumed for your property, who submits it, who issues the electrical certificate and registers the installation, and who sets up surplus compensation. Ours include all of these.
5. Access and extras
Scaffolding, cranes, street-occupation permits, roof repairs, consumer unit upgrades, trenching. Ours list them; ask any installer whose quote does not.
6. Warranties and aftercare
Product, performance and workmanship warranties, and who you call when the monitoring shows zero.
7. Who does the electrical work
The installation must be carried out and certified by an authorised installer. Ask whose name is on the certificate.
